Matthew 28:16-20 - Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Honest Questions:
1. Have you ever lost a loved one to suicide? If so, how have you learned to cope with that pain?
2. Have you ever thought about or attempted to hurt yourself? If so, what advice would you give to someone who is currently thinking about something similar?
3. Do you think seeing a counselor is something everyone should do or something only certain people should do?
4. When the 11 disciples who saw Jesus on the mountain after His resurrection "worshiped" Him, how do you think they did it?
5. If some of the 11 disciples who saw Jesus on the mountain after His resurrection "doubted," do you think it is right for us to criticize people who doubt Jesus today?
6. What are some of the ways you participate in the process of making disciples?
7. What is one way we could improve this group so that it would be an even better tool people can use to make disciples?
8. Would you be willing to join an online group that was designed to assist you and hold you accountable as you reach out to your sphere of influence and make disciples?
9. What was your favorite verse in Matthew 28 and why?
