Today we are reading Philippians 2.
As we read, these verses stood out to me:

Philippians 2:14-18 - Do all things without grumbling or disputing; 15 so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain. 17 But even if I am being poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with you all. 18 You too, I urge you, rejoice in the same way and share your joy with me.

Please, take some time to Share Your Thoughts With Us as they relate to this passage. You can share anything that is on your heart but, if you don't know where to start, try reading these verses and answering one or more of the following "Honest Questions"

Honest Questions:

1. How would you describe your personality to someone who has never met you?

2. Did you see the way the Apostle Paul spoke about Timothy and Epaphroditus in this passage? How do you think your Pastor would describe you if he felt the need to introduce you to someone you have never met?

3. Are grumbling or disputing overly present in your daily life? Are you the source or the sounding board? How does it make you feel?

4. Have you learned how to convert the observations you make into prayer? If so, how did you acquire that value for prayer?

5. Could being a witness to God's power be as easy as not grumbling or disputing? Is that what Paul is talking about in verse 15? If not, what do we need to add to our positive attitude to make an observable impact on the world around us?

6. Do you think of yourself as a person that "appears as a light in the midst of a crooked d perverse generation?"

7. Would you be satisfied running this race even if you did not see your efforts bearing any observable fruit? If so, why? If no, why not?

8. Do you think it is possible that your local pastor ever struggles with self-doubt, insecurity, weariness or fear? If so, what is one thing you could do to help your pastor see that their efforts have helped you? How could you "rejoice and share your joy with" your pastor and/or others within your sphere of influence?

9. What was your favorite verse in Philippians 2 and why?

10. Do you have any specific questions or prayer requests after reading Philippians 2?
