Matthew 26:26-29 - While they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” 27 And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; 28 for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins. 29 But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”

Honest Questions:

1. What are some of the most teachable moments in your regular daily routine? 2. How frequently does your family sit down at the table and eat a meal together?

3. When was the last time you observed communion with your family in your home?

4. How often does your church serve the Lord's Supper?

5. Does it matter what we use to symbolize the body and blood of Jesus or is the act of remembering Him the part of this ceremony that makes it holy?

6. What must a person do to have their sins forgiven?

7. Do you think the Lord's Supper should be used as an evangelistic tool? Why or why not?

8. Jesus broke bread with the disciples on the road to Emmaus. Do you think He drank the wine at that time also? Why would it matter if He did?

9. What was your favorite verse in Matthew 26 and why?

10. Do you have any specific questions or prayer requests after reading Matthew 26?
