Mark 4:38-41
Today we are reading Mark 4.
As we read, these verses stood out to me:
Mark 4:38-41 - Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they *woke Him and *said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” 39 And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm. 40 And He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?” 41 They became very much afraid and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”

2. What do you think Jesus expected the disciples to believe as they were going through this near-death experience?
3. What are your sleeping patterns like? Do you get plenty of sleep? Do you think of yourself as a morning bird or a night owl?
4. Do you think Jesus is concerned about the daily circumstances of your life?
5. Is the season you are currently going through a good one or a bad one? How could we join you in your prayers concerning your current circumstances in life?
6. Have you ever "lost everything?" If so, what advice would you give to people who have never gone through that sort of adversity?
7. Who do you have in your life that you can speak honestly with about the things going on with you internally? (fear, faith, belief, unbelief)
8. Take some time to worship Jesus as you read this chapter. As you worship, what is something that comes to mind?
9. What was your favorite verse in Mark 4 and why?
