Welcome to our Online Bible Study.
We are glad that you are here.

Today we are discussing:

Galatians 6:1-5 - Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another. 5 For each one will bear his own load.

Please, take some time to Share Your Thoughts With Us as they relate to this passage.

You can share anything that is on your heart but, if you don't know where to start, try reading these verses and answering one or more of the following "Honest Questions"

Honest Questions:

1. If this is the way we are supposed to treat anyone who is caught in a tresspass then why do people have such a hard time admitting their faults?

2. Is "a spirit of gentleness" the sort of attitude we see in people when confronting sin in the world around us?

3. If this is the way a spiritual person is to act when addressing sinfulness, how would you describe the sort of approach you have seen taken most often?

4. What is the difference between dealing gently with the tresspasses of others and ignoring the trespasses of others?

5. Does restoring a person caught in a trespass assume that the person would have previously been removed or does it assume that a person caught in a trespass will usually remove themselves?

6. What is the "law of Christ" and how do we fulfill it?

7. Are you doing the best job you know how to do when it comes to following Christ or are there specific issues you know you need to address in your spiritual life?

8. Do you think your church is filled with people who are bearing their own load or are there a few people who seem to do a lot more than everyone else? Is that a good thing? If not, what is one thing that could be done to improve the situation?

9. What was your favorite verse in Galatians 6 and why?

10. Do you have any specific questions or prayer requests after reading Galatians 6?
