Welcome to our Online Bible Study.
We are glad that you are here.

Today we are discussing:

Galatians 4:6-9 - Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God. 8 However at that time, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those which by nature are no gods. 9 But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again?

Please, take some time to Share Your Thoughts With Us as they relate to this passage.

You can share anything that is on your heart but, if you don't know where to start, try reading these verses and answering one or more of the following "Honest Questions"

Honest Questions:

1. In what way do you currently sense God leading you like a Father would lead His child?

2. How often does the Holy Spirit lead you into a place of prayer?

3. What is one of the things you find yourself praying about most often these days?

4. Have you ever thought of yourself as a slave to something? If so, how did you get free from it and what would you advise someone who feels like they are a slave to something or someone, now?

5. Have you ever been physically, mentally, emotionally, or sexually abused? If so, what would you say to someone who is currently being abused?

6. Have you ever physically, mentally, emotionally, or sexually abused someone? If so, what would you say to someone who is currently abusing or being abused by someone?

7. Are you familiar with the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous? If so, how were you first introduced to them and what would you tell someone who has never heard of them before?

8. Would you be willing to "go live" in our group sometime today and tell everyone about the way you came to know God?

9. What was your favorite verse in Galatians 4 and why?

10. Do you have any specific questions or prayer requests after reading Galatians 4?

We use our Basic Bible Reading plan to guide the discussions in this group.
