1 Timothy 2:8-10

Today we are reading 1 Timothy 2.
As we read, these verses stood out to me:
1 Timothy 2:8-10 - Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension. 9 Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, 10 but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness.

1. In our culture, do you think it is less common for men to be devoted to prayer or for women to be devoted to modesty?

3. In your experience which of these attributes is less common in men: prayerfulness, holiness, patience, peacefulness, longsuffering, diplomacy, or leadership?
4. Who are some of the godliest masculine examples we have to follow in our culture?
5. In your experience are the men of your community or the women of your community more passionate about seeking out and following God's will for their lives?
6. Who are some of the godliest feminine examples we have to follow in our culture?
